Rotorua Trust election details

Why does the Rotorua Trust hold an election?

The community supports the future of Rotorua Trust

Rotorua Trust exists to serve the people of Rotorua. Every three years, the community elects six Trustees to govern the Trust. These Trustees make decisions about funding and investment that reflect local needs and aspirations.

Established in 1994 following the sale of Rotorua Electricity Limited, Rotorua Trust has served the community for over 30 years. Starting with $32 million in capital, the Trust’s investment portfolio has grown to over $165 million, enabling it to return more than $130 million to the Rotorua community through grants.
